Augustine's Prayer (my favorite)

delapidated cottage from geograph

My soul is like a house,
small for you to enter,
but I pray you to enlarge it.
It is in ruins,
but I ask you to remake it.
It contains much you will not be pleased to see:
this I know and do not hide. Confessions 1.5

Hey Joyo, I'm loving all the prayers you've posted recently. I really miss that part of connecting with God (that is, now that I've left the Anglican church). I should take up readings for advent. I think I will. Did I tell you I'm going back to the contemplative group? We'll have to chat soon.
